Biography

Maya Wolff is a German Singer/Songwriter based in Brighton, UK. In the past few years she’s established herself as a leading voice in the electronic dance music scene repeatedly charting at Beatport with her latest releases reaching the Top 10 genre charts with a couple of No 1’s.

She started out in England at the age of 19, singing and dancing in a Pop band for two years having toured with dance companies and her solo music career throughout her teenage years. She then moved away from Pop music and dancing to pursue her career within the electronic/bass music scene.

With her heart set on writing and performing Electronic and Bass music, she has been working with producers all around the world, releasing her debut single "Trusting You"(Lumpsum)in March 2013. Ever since she had an endless amount of interest from producers and has released the follow up "Like a Teenage Dream",  "If the Sky", "Just while you cry”, "Pay off" throughout 2014, followed up by success single "Midnight Sun”, “Hot & Cold” in 2015 and No 10 hitting "I Can't See The Ground" in 2016.  2017 saw the release of “Just be mine” and her first Trance release “What If We can”, followed up by No1 (in the Beatport Trance Release charts) charting Single&Remixes “More Than Anything” in 2018 followed by more Trance releases reaching the Top 10 Beatport charts in 2019 “You can let go”, a collab with James Tullar and “In The Places I hide” with Arsen Gold.

Maya’s vocal Trance EP “Captured” as well as her own dance EP “Fast Forward” were released on her own label ‘Wolff Recordings’ in the second half of 2020. Both EP’s entered the Beatport Top 10 genre charts as well as the Top 100 overall charts. She had support from BBC South on several tracks and from radio shows and podcasts all around the world. Her EP single releases were accompanied by Austin Leeds as well as Enhanced releasing producer Steve Brian and featured on Enhanced Sessions 582.

2022 had more releases with her own name in store accompanied by music videos - “Close Your Eyes” filmed in a Canadian volcano and “Nightfall” have taken a turn to a deeper melodic/house vibe that has her unique vocal stamp and writing style on it.

2023 has started strong with great support on “Whirlwind”, another collaboration with Arsen Gold accompanied by a music video as well as “Broken Hearts” with Peter Dennis that got radio play from BBC in the UK as their featured artist as well as radio stations around the world. With more releases lined up for this year, it’s looking to be a promising steady stream of new music under her own name and with new collaborations.

With a strong fanbase of 45K on twitter alone, support from her global audience has led her to performances on Broadway NYC, European Festivals and at home in the UK.
